Well maybe not by that much. But there is a wee bit o’ Irish in this young lass.
My reading list is now up to 40 books. Holy cow! I don’t know how I will get through them all, but I’m patiently waiting right now, for the library to get my beloved Artemis in. Matthew is reading the first book now. I got him into it. Haha! Literary Mary strikes again! Let’s see. I got him into Harry Potter, almost got him into Lemony Snicket and now he is hooked on Artemis Fowl. Lord Of The Rings was a miss. He wasn’t too thrilled with the first few pages, which is understandable as the first few are completely boring. He quit before he even started.
This morning I woke up at 6:30 am to fetch the leprechauns. I’m a dedicated one aren’t I? They made the kids green cinnamon toast and green milk in the dark! What good little workers. When the kids came downstairs they saw that the food wasn’t the only surprise. Nestled beside the toast and milk was green hats and gold foil wrapped chocolate candy. Boy, were they excited. Matthew bugged me all morning, saying that Leilani would be the only one ranting and raving about the leprechauns visiting her house. I told him to bugger off, because how did he know other parents weren’t cool like me?
I took a dozen pictures of them as they chomped away at their green breakfast. Leilani went to school with a very green tongue. At least she won’t get pinched today.
