Ok, so I’m going to rough it for another several months until next summer arrives. That way I’ll have lived in every single month in Florida, without missing a beat. I’ll know all about the temperature changes and whether or not leaves change colors and fall.
We have to stay anyway. We have a contract with the apartment, a contract with Direct TV, and daughter is in school until the middle of May. So we cannot just up and leave.
After the year is up, we will see what we want. If we are positive about leaving, we’ll leave. No regrets. Just a good lesson learned.
If husband doesn’t find a job soon I have an idea. I may make a flyer requesting to babysit a small child, around baby boy’s age – like say 3 to 5. If that doesn’t work I’ll go apply at the daycares around town. There are several. I hate changing stranger’s kid’s diapers. I’d do anything for a friend’s baby, but daycare work is so much harder.
Once while working at one I developed severe eczema on my fingers. I had a tiny rash that looked like I had a bunch of zits on my hands. They would pop and ooze a clear fluid that in turn would create more of the rash on a different finger or part of my hand. It itched like crazy and my hands would turn red. I saw a dermatologist and he gave me special cortisone creams that really helped. I dont have it anymore, but I often wonder if I washed my hands enough – like I did back then, if it would come back.
I’m tired. I can’t type much more. Just wanted to record these thoughts before I hit the hay. Saw the logs. Count Zzz’s.
Haha I’m a dork. Nighty night.
